The annual Cars & Carnivores Street Festival returns to Downtown Wake Forest, building on the incredible success of previous years. More than 75 cancer patients in the community have already had their past-due medical debt paid off, and this year's goal is to make an even more significant impact.
The Wake Forest Medical Debt Relief initiative, in partnership with WakeMed Health & Hospitals, is dedicated to alleviating the financial burdens of cancer patients so they can focus on their health and recovery. This year's fundraising goal is $50,000, and all festival proceeds go directly toward paying off past-due medical debt for cancer patients receiving care at local hospitals.
